Amaterasu had seen all sorts of strange things and people in her world, but nothing quite like this amusment park. These strucures were all entire foreign and she couldn't see what use any of them had. Still, they were some of the most interesting things in the world that she's ever seen. She couldn't help but take time to stop and stare at each one as she wandered through the amusment park, repeatedly forgetting her true goal of coming to this place. Food. Of course it never took long for the wolf's stomach to remind her just why she had gone there in the first place and she would resume her search.
Amaterasu was alert, for the most part, she had run into some pretty hideous monsters from this place and had gotten some pretty good battering from them. With the few people she had run into, she would fight the creatures, but by herself she avoided them. She just didn't feel any strength when she was alone.
Amaterasu wandered up to a counter and put her paws up on it, leaning in as far as she could and sniffed the stagnant air, was the food kept back there still food even? There were things even a hungry wold knew not to eat.

When Ulrich came to, at first he thought he was still dreaming. The more he thought about it, the more he realized he didn't recall even falling asleep. Last he remembered he and his friends were convincing Jeremy to take a break from his computer and go have a little fun elsewhere. He and Odd were heading back to their room and then ... blank!
The boy furrowed his brow. Having been so deep in thought he didn't even take the time to notice his surroundings. Finally becoming aware, he began to slowly look around. This place definitely wasn't pleasant. It had the appearance of an amusement park, but it lacked something important. The people, and, well, the fun and laughter that generally came with one. Kind of confused, he stood up and chose to walk around.
Maybe this was another one of X.A.N.A.'s attacks. He'd somehow managed to break into the real world and he sent Ulrich and his friends to various places! At least, that's what he first assumed. The more he tried to figure it out, the more concerned he became. "...Nothing fits..." He muttered, "X.A.N.A.'s attacks never worked like this before.... how is this happening?"
He rubbed the back of his head as he trudged on, seeming to be very deep in thought. Becoming more confused and less aware, Ulrich ceased to pay attention to any of his surroundings. He began to feel like he was just asleep or something. Maybe he fainted while they were walking, though he felt perfectly fine beforehand. Honestly, nothing was piecing together.
"Jeez...." He muttered, "Maybe if I call the others..." He pulled out his cellular device from the pocket of his blue jeans and pulled up his contacts. Without really thinking, he chose Yumi's name and pressed the phone to his ear. He waited for the ring, but it just never came. In fact, rather than the phone ringing or going to voicemail, it simply buzzed like static. Ulrich pulled the phone away from his ear and stared at it with a frown. "... You've got to be kidding me. This place has no signal?" With a huff, the 13 year old stuffed his phone back in his pocket.
Now he'd travelled quite an amount through the amusement park, but he still didn't see any signs of life or even ... anything! It was like this entire place was dead. Deserted. No one was here. A shiver crawled down his spine. This place was just plain freaky, and Ulrich wasn't the type of person to become easily phased. Just what was going on here? Honestly, he was close to praying it was just a dream just so he could wake up and not have to think about the creepy atmosphere.
The boy didn't stop walking because he had an ounce of hope that if he just kept going he'd end up somewhere. However, part of him told him that just wasn't the case. He almost felt like complaining, but who was he going to complain to? The air? With a sigh he folded his arms across his chest and curled a little as he walked. The air had suddenly become a lot colder and he didn't like the feeling he was getting at all.
Seconds later, he was sure he heard a sound. Paranoid, Ulrich turned sharply, his eyes darting back and forth between various areas. When he saw nothing, he calmed down slightly, but his tension level did not drop. He turned once more and began to walk. There was a noise again, this time multiple. At either side of him. He turned once again, standing stiffly but also defensively. "W..who goes there!?" He exclaimed, though his voice sort of cracked. Wow, intimidating?
Still no response. Lifting an eyebrow, Ulrich scanned the area. This was kind of bad. He didn't want to be ambushed or something. He didn't even know what he was hearing. Was he just hallucinating? Oh man. He licked his lower lip nervously and took a step backward, just to see what would happen--actually, more so so he could go for the branch he spotted not too far off. As he edged closer, his eyes never stopped darting back and forth between where he suspected he was being watched.
Then, just as Ulrich was about to reach for the stick, several creatures began to crawl from their hiding places, using their long claws to drag themselves forward. The noises they made startled Ulrich, but their appearance is what petrified him. Honestly, he'd never seen something so terrifying before in his life. He wanted to grab the stick, but he couldn't bring himself to move at all. "Wha..." He wanted to talk, but even then, that wasn't working.
The creatures came fast. If he didn't move quickly, he was definitely in for it. After a few seconds, the boy jumped to the side, rolling and picking up the stick. Rather than attacking, however, he started to run for his life. Those monsters had claws. This wasn't Lyoko--one bad strike from them and he was dead. If this wasn't a dream, he was really going to be dead. "Oh no... what do I do.." He gasped as he ran. He was relieved he was so fast, but even so the fear of being chased by such demonic beings was causing his legs to go weak. How was he going to lose them?
While thinking this, however, Ulrich missed a step in his running, and much to his dismay came crashing down into the dirt. He landed directly on his face and slid about a foot before wincing and sitting up some. He registered the fall and gasped, quickly turning so he was sitting, but facing where the creatures were coming from. "Ah... AHHHHH!!" He wailed as the creatures came in close. The first one took a swipe at him, but thank the Gods he had fast reflexes as well as that stick. The claws were caught, but the stick was rendered useless as it was completely stuck on the monster's claws. Ulrich quickly looked at the monster's head, accidentally traumatizing himself with it's face. The creature roared and Ulrich, causing him to whimper slightly and he quickly managed to scoot backwards and stumble back to his feet.
Once again, the boy ran for his life. He'd never been so scared.

Amaterasu smelled something that might be worth investigating, she crouched on her hind legs to get ready to leap over the counter to do so when a sudden outburst of sounds distracted her. She turned and her ears pricked, focusing in on all the sounds. There was lots of growling, and a voice. A human voice
She instantly forgot about the food once again and dashed towards the sounds, she skidded around a coner, struggling for a moment to get her traction back before bolting forward again, she didn't stop to look at any of the things that passed by her this time.
Up ahead she saw a child running in her direction with several things chasing after him. She ran at him, before leaping over his head and landing directly on top of the closest creature, clamping down on one of its arms, but letting go as it swiped at her. Having learned from past experiences, she knew getting struck hurt a lot and usually happened when she was holding on to something.
She leapt back and lashed at it with the instrument on her back. She'd successfully distracted at least that one.

"Definitely... not.... X.A.N.A...!" Ulrich informed himself as he continued to run, though he had to stop when he registered the white dog-like figure running directly at him. As it reached him, he raised his arms as a shield, but was surprised when he saw it jump clear over him. Turning in alarm, he stared as the dog threw itself at the creature to attack. "...Wait!" He called out, holding out a hand, but the dog seemed to know what it was doing. After all, it evaded the monster's attack with some skill. How long had it been here?
The boy wanted to stare in wonder for a few moments, but trouble was still up ahead. There were more than a few of those monsters and he had to keep a close watch on them. Seeing the dog bravely attack one of them, he felt some of his fear slip away, and more of his bravery coming back. Quickly, he glanced about his surroundings. He needed another weapon to wield. Something better than that stick from before ... something a little more ... dangerous? Then he spotted it--an awkward pole sticking out from next to a rusty, broken-up hot dog stand. He didn't know why it was there, but he didn't care. A weapon was a weapon and he needed it.
With extreme speed, he ran for the stand and yanked the pole out of the ground. It took a few tries, but once it was free he became used to it almost immediately. He turned back toward the monsters and the dog seeing that they'd changed their minds about focusing on him. Now that dog was alone--1 to about 5. Not good. His eyes narrowed and he let out a small breath. Had to calm down. He'd keep missing if he just freaked out. He was never scared of dying when it came to X.A.N.A.'s attacks, why now? Just because they were a horror movie come to life didn't mean he couldn't defeat them like the other things.
He let out a cry to draw their attention from the dog and charged at them, holding the pole up high. "Come and get me, you monsters!!!" He yelled. When he got close, one swiped at him with extreme speed, but being rather quick himself, Ulrich leapt into the air then landed behind the monster and whirled around, whacking it hard in the head with the metal pole. The monster was blown over to the side and lay twitching for a few moments.
Ulrich almost wanted to stand there proudly, but there was no time. After that creature was knocked out of the way, a second came and clawed at him from behind. Due to his reflexes, he managed to jump to the side quickly--but just barely. Even so, the third clawed at him instantly and there was no time for the boy to dodge. He started a turn in attempt to deflect the claws, but managed to get a good slash nonetheless. "...Agh!" He grunted, overwhelmed for the moment with the sudden pain.

Amaterasu was glad to see that the boy could fight and take care of himself. She reminded her of someone she used to know. Susano, a man that was once a coward that ran from anything and everything. He'd gained courage when it came to fighting for someone precious to him and he turned out being a rather good fighter. His was much older and brawnier than this kid though.
Though she'd managed to dodge several attacks, Ammy wasn't perfect. She got some gashes from the monsters and yelped each time it happened. She would go back to fighting each time without hesitation. She turned at one point, the tip of her tail turned black and a gash appeared across one of the creatures. That was two down, including the one the boy had taken out and now there was three to go.
Ammy tried to focus on keeping the boy safe, she fought close to him but was smart enough to stay away from the pipe he was weilding. She was good at fighting along side humans, always helping and never getting in their way unless it was for their own safety.

Ulrich found it a lot easier to fight while this dog fought alongside him. He knew dogs were loyal and helpful, but this one gave off a strange aura. He glanced at her as the two battled and then thwacked the pipe down hard on another creature's head. That creature was down for the count and now just two to go. He had a feeling the two of them could manage, but he was already feeling sort of queasy from the blood-loss caused by the gash in his side.
He frowned slightly and lunged for the next creature, dodging the claws successfully. He landed with a skid and then held the pole up and ran at it again. "Yaaaa!" He yelled out and swung the pole to the side. He missed the creature, but ended up falling on accident just as the creature swiped for him. Luckily, the fall had caused him to dodge.
Ulrich's heart beat fast in his chest. That was pretty close. He had to take this one out before it took HIM out. He swung once again from where he was sitting on the ground, thwacking the monster, but not necessarily taking it out. He jumped to his feet and scrambled out of the way of its next attack. Lucky for him the monster's claw was stuck in the ground and he took this chance to thwack it hard on the top of the head. The skull crushed and blood splattered over the pole as well as partially on Ulrich's clothes.
Feeling kind of sick, he took a few steps back. He stood there and wavered a bit, an almost blank expression in his eyes. He dropped the pole on the ground and covered his wound with his hands, falling to his knees. Definitely not the same as being in Lyoko. This was real pain and he figured it wasn't something to really ... take lightly. But how was he going to actually fix this up? There didn't seem to be any hospitals around here..
He turned his head some and looked toward the wolf as well as the creature whom was most likely fighting with her. He stared for a few seconds that seemed like a longer time to him. His vision blurred while he watched them, then faded and the last thing he registered was his face hitting the floor.

Ammy snarled as Ulrich was nearly hit, and was relieved when he took care of the beast. She saw him collapse and got in the way of the last creature that had watched him fall and started to approach him. She barked at the creature which effectively captured it's attention. It slashed at her and she leapt to the side, drawing the creature away from the boy. When she thought it was far enough away, she turned as the tip of her tail turned black again and she whipped it in a circle then flicked it up. A colorful cherry bomb suddenly appeared in front of the creature which swiped down and effectively blew itself up.
With all the creatures taken care of, Ammy, approched Ulrich and nudged his (massive) head, giving a small whimper. Was he alright? She knew he was hurt but she didn't know what around here could possibly help him. The smell of blood might attract other unwanted things. If he didn't wake up soon, she would have to take him else where and hide him. She waited for a few minutes to see if he would wake up by himself, before gently grabbing his arm with her teeth and somehow wiggling under him. After a lot of complication, she managed to get the boy on her back. He was rather light, huh.
She walked with him on her back, staying away from all food stands because monsters liked to go for food too. She ended up taking him to a game stand and getting him behind the counter, hiding with him there and lying with him.

As the two proceeded on, Ulrich felt as if he were on some sort of lift. He wasn't conscious enough to know exactly how he was moving, but he knew he felt extremely light and that he wasn't walking. His eyes drifted open partially and he noticed the ground faintly as well as the presence of fur. Wait, what just happened?
His eyes drifted shut again as he once more lost consciousness for the time being.
The next time he opened his eyes he was sitting up against a wall of some sort. Well, maybe it wasn't a wall. He wasn't too sure, he was too confused and out of it. He stared forward for a few seconds, wondering where he was once again. He turned his head somewhat, it felt heavy. He looked down and noticed the dog from before was there laying beside him. Absent-mindedly he lifted his hand and dropped it down onto the dog's white fur. He began to stroke her, continuing to watch her.
"Do you know where this is, pup...?" He asked, quietly. His side burned and he was pretty sure he'd lost just enough of blood to be weakened for a while. He needed hydration as well as bandages. But where would he find them. "Did you save me...?" He continued to pet her as well as stare down at her. Somehow he felt so much safer and less afraid with her around. He hoped she wouldn't end up leaving.

Upon him regaining his conciousness, Ammy lifted her head and leaned in closer when he started to pet her. She was bleeding as well but just had a silly dog expression on her face.
She listened to him speak, and barked softly in response when he asked if she had saved him and wagged her tail in response. She wondered what should be done for the kid. Normally, if someone was hurt like this she would go get help and bring it to them or bring them to help. In this world of monsters there were very few other people around and they moved around a lot so they wouldn't get killed. So what was there to do for the boy.
At the very least she knew she couldn't leave him by himself. He was injured and likely couldn't fight as well, and even she knew that she was better having people to fight with. She was more powerful when she wasn't alone.
Ammy suddenly opened her mouth wide in a yawn, displaying her array of paticularly dangerous looking fangs. She looked outwards toward the sun that was starting to set. It would get cold soon. She would be fine of course but would the boy be okay in the cold?

Ulrich chuckled half-heartidly at the dog's response. Animals always seemed to be so happy and optimistic, even when there was nothing in particular to be happy about. He wished he could be like that. He continued to pet her gently, leaning his head back against the counter and staring off. "I've gotta find a way to ... stop the bleeding." He muttered, mostly to himself, but he did intend for the dog to hear it too.
He moved his other arm and started to pull the jacket he was wearing off of that shoulder, then used his arm he'd been petting her with previously to take off the other side. He forced himself to lean forward slightly, wincing from the pain, and then pulled the jacket through. He'd use it as a way to wrap himself for now, though he figured it probably wasn't going to be too useful. But whatever, it was temporary. He'd go look for something else when he was feeling more up to it.
He wanted to rip the jacket some in order to make a more doable bandage, but he honestly couldn't pull it apart for the life of him. He glanced down at the dog. "...Hey... do you think you could help me and rip this..?" He asked. She had ferocious fangs, he figured she could rip apart anything if she tried. He was just glad she wasn't set out to kill him. Well, at least not yet. Ah.
"I need to make it into something I can wrap my side up with ... can you do it?" He wasn't too sure the dog even understood what he was saying. However, she did have that joyful reaction when he'd asked if she'd saved his life. He had a feeling this dog was a lot more intelligent then say, Kiwi, or something. Definitely a partner worth having. He just wished he hadn't been injured so he could be a little more helpful.

Ammy wondered if he would be without a jacket, there wasnt much else around though. At his request she stood and walked over in front of him and leaned down, picking up his jacket. She kind of derped around for a moment, trying to figure out how to pull off this feat when she accidently stepped on it. When she felt the tug she figured out that she could use that to rip it.
With her new discovery, Ammy stepped on the jacket and tore a strip off of it and offered it to Ulrich looking rather pleased and proud of herself. Normally, she had to have someone tell her what to do to get things done.

Ulrich watched the dog in curiosity, then gave it a slight smile when the jacket was successfully ripped. "Hey, thanks." He murmured. "You're turning out to be really... really nifty." He reached forward and grabbed the strip that had been previously ripped and then lifted his tank-top to look at the gash. The wound had three separate claw marks, though only one of them seemed to be bad. Due to the way the boy had magically lessened the attack, the middle claw was the only one that had managed to do a great amount of damage.
He stared at the wound for a moment, feeling weak and sort of faint. He hoped his jacket-bandages would do their job for a long enough time. With a somewhat determined look, he bit the rim of the shirt to hold it up, then went to work figuring out a way to wrap the bandage around himself. Realizing just this strip wasn't going to work, he looked back at the dog. "We don't have any gauze, but... I need something to cover the cut," He said through his teeth. "Other than a jacket strip. Do you think you could find something ...?"
His voice was airy, it was obvious he wasn't a super-human and the fact that he was still conscious with the amount of blood loss was already surprising enough. However, though he sounded very weak, at the same time he had a sort of hope for the dog. Maybe she could find something nearby that could be of use. If not, he'd just have to figure out how to manage without. He hoped no more of those monsters showed up.

Amaterasu stared at the boy's wound in dismay, not that it really showed on her face. It was pretty bad. He really, really needed someone to help him out. She hated this place, there were so few people around. Without hands and fully being able to communicate this was a rather difficult dilema for her.
She listened to the boy speak again, and had no idea what he was talking about when he said gauze. What she did get out of his words was that he needed something else. She looked around to see what she could find. Blood needed to be absorbed and wounds pushed on. That's what she'd heard a human say before. There wasn't much around to work with. There were some stuffed animals lying around on the ground and the only other fabric around was the canvas's over some of the stands.
Ammy remembered seeing a gift shop with clothes in it, but it was some ways away. She felt uncomfortable about leaving the boy there in such a weakened state. She knew the options, but still didn't really know what to do. She wished her little friend was here. He would know if it was okay to leave the kid here or not.
In the end, Ammy started pacing around, looking at things, poking at the stuffed animals, looking up at the canvases, and looking in the distance at a bigger building which was a gift shop. Either she ran to get other shirts, or the stuffed animals got shredded for fluff which could be tied to the wound by some of the canvases. She looked at Ulrich, wondering if he would have any other advice for what to do for him.

Ulrich stared at the amount of materials the dog had brought back to him. "Hm," He glanced back and forth between it all then finally decided to just use one of the shirts. He grabbed hold of one and folded it a couple of times, then once again lifted up his shirt. He bit onto the hem and pressed the fabric against the gash, holding it there. He figured this would probably work, and with his free hand he grabbed the strip of his jacket and attempted to pull it around himself... which he was having a relatively hard time doing. He only had two hands and one was occupied holding the shirt in place.
He dropped the tank top from his mouth and when he managed to pull part of the strip around himself, used his teeth to pull it further while holding the first part up against his creatively made gauze pad. He grabbed it with his other hand once convenient and tied up the strip, holding the shirt against his side with the palm of his hand. Once it was tight, he let it go. "...Ok, now it'll be easier." He muttered.
He grabbed some canvas or whatever and now pulled this around himself. He tied it securely over the shirt as well as the strip of his jacket and made sure it was tight. He made several efforts to create a workable wrap and when he was finished, just sat back.
"Ugh.." He muttered. Honestly, it stung so much it was almost numb. He hardly had any energy to move anymore and his head felt heavy. He needed to find himself a way to replenish his energy as well as maybe a kind of hospital. God he hoped there was a hospital here. It didn't seem like there'd be anything good here.
Or .. there was the option to sit where he was and wait for death. It was the easy way out, but it was also pretty pathetic. "I can't... die here..." He said, faintly, then winced as he began to force himself onto his feet. He used the counter for his main support and almost had to scoot up it in order to stand. His legs didn't want to work and his arms were through with their job for the day.
Once finally on his feet again, he leaned entirely on the counter and panted. This was going to be difficult. How was he honestly going to keep going?

Ammy watched him get the wrap together as he treated his wound. This kid shouldn't be moving so much. He needed rest. Ammy decided to take charge now. She butted her head against her leg. She wanted him to sit down again. A human couldn't afford to use this much energy right?
When it got down to it, Ammy could sometimes make descions when she thought someone might be close to losing their life. This boy needed food and water (much like she very much did right now as well ) And the canvas she had brought him could act as a blanket. If he wandered around in this state he was more likely to attract monsters than find someone who could help him.
Blood attracted monsters, and though it was a little risky to stay here, at least there were some survival things here. She looked at him and barked twice as if demanind that he sit back down and pushed on his leg again.
