Ammy heard Ulrich, he was right, she did need to get out of there, but she couldn't let the creature go after him as well. When he started shouting the creature did turn in his direction, in which time Ammy took the opportunity to slash at it with its mirror, finding that it was pretty effetive. This thing was a bit lighter boned than some of the other things she'd fought. The hit successfully recaptured its attention and she jumped as it snapped at her, going over the counter, out into the open and it followed her, getting into the air again and squaking as it took back to the air, circling her and looking for an opening. She snarled and watched it. It wasn't in any animal's nature to just give up on it's own life, and that rule applied to her.
Ammy stayed on the ground, snarling and barking defiantly up at the creature.

Ulrich curled up, holding his head when the creature focused its attention on him. Honestly, he wasn't being too brave right now, but he was horrified. This was continuously getting worse and worse.
When Ammy successfully diverted the creature's attention and when she jumped over the counter and out into the open, he opened his eyes and turned his head some. She didn't plan on fighting it ... right?
He shifted positions so he was on all fours and started to crawl around the counter--only he'd crawled more so to the side so he could see what was going on outside of the stand. When he saw Ammy standing there defensively and the creature flying overhead, he became clueless as to what he should do.

The bat creature swooped in at her, and Ammy swung the mirror up at it, striking it and causing it to retreat some, it came in again and she dodged, the third time it knocked her over and landed, putting a foot on a torso as it leaned in and opened its mouth over her head. All the while Ammy struggled and fought beneath it.
The creature wasn't as sturdy as some other ones were. It was a bat/bird type thing and therefore it had to have light bones, which translated to crushable bones in a fight. The creatures focus was entirely on Ammy who kept struggling and snapping up at its face to no avail. Her tail was black tipped like she was trying to do something, but she couldn't really catch a good, stable angle to draw at.

Ulrich watched in dismay. The poor thing needed help. If he just sat there and watched the entire time, she would surely die. What would he do with himself then?! He'd feel pretty guilty, that was for sure. "...Uh oh.." He muttered, then turned and looked back behind the stand. Was there anything he could potentially use as a weapon here? He knew martial arts, but right now he felt like anything he tried in that practice would end up as him half-flailing then landing on his face somewhere. No help at all.
He finally spotted various rocks and decided that would have to do for now. Not nearly a good enough weapon, but if he aimed just right, he'd be able to hit it and hopefully either distract it or hurt it. He grabbed hold of a rock then crawled back around the end of the stand and pulled himself to the feet. "...Hey!!" He called out, then tossed the rock as hard as he could toward its face. Of course, for one, the throw was a little pathetic and it landed about a foot in before it. Almost humiliated, Ulrich quickly grabbed another rock.
"Hit it this time...!" He demanded to himself and tossed the rock even harder. "Rreaaghgh!" He managed to pelt the beast this time and successfully made it turn its attention toward him, though it didn't move yet.

It wasn't just the creature that he had distracted but Ammy as well. She stopped struggling looked over at Ulrich, her ears perked. The combination of Ammy's stopped movements and Ulrich suddenly becoming more of a nuisance, the creature let go of Ammy and started to hop after Ulrich.
Ammy scrambled to her feet as the thing soared over the counter to try to get to Ulrich, it began to try to claw at him,

Ulrich stared at both the creature and Ammy for the moment. "A..Ahh!!" He exclaimed as it went for him now and quickly crawled back behind the counter. Rather than just sitting behind it, however, he kept on crawling, heading around for the other side. The creature was trying to claw him--if he stayed still, he'd either be even more seriously wounded or bird food. Not that this thing counted as a bird at all!!
"Oh no, oh no," He muttered to himself as he kept crawling. He figured if he stayed closer to the counter, the creature would have a less chance of actually being able to hit him. His wound was in searing pain right now, but the adrenaline rush from being pursued like this egged him on.
However, he wasn't sure just how long he could last crawling around like this.

Ammy watched the bat-bird thing and paced back and forth, panicked. She saw that it seemed to be chasing something, that meant Ulrich was alived right?? She couldn't safely hop into the stand, she could either get in his way and get him killed or get killed herself and be unable to help the boy.
The creature continued to try to claw at Ulrich, but not being very bright, it wasn't able to hit him. He was moving around too much for it to really aim properly and the small amount of space was keeping it from moving properly. As much as it tried to snap and claw at him, it wasn't successful.
Ammy looked at the posts holding up the canvas, before getting an idea, her tail filled up with ink and she turned, cutting one side of the poles, causing it to split all the way through and fall inwards, the wooden parted konked the creature on the head and also obscurred the creature's vision and movments even more by getting its head caught in the tarp. The creature began to flail and claw at what was on it's head giving Ulrich a good opportunity to escape.

Ulrich continued to crawl around the stand, terrified. At least the creature wasn't smart enough or lucky enough to get him. He saw Ammy attack one of the posts to the stand and paused as the canvas fell and covered the bird-like beast, along with the post knocking it. Gasping a little, he backed away and backed straight out of the stand, then stumbled to his feet and began to shift away while he could.
After he was several feet away from the game stand, he turned and looked back at it. He then looked over at Ammy. "Shouldn't... shouldn't we get outta here?" He said in the form of a question.

Ammy stood there, snarling with muscles tense like she was waiting for something to happen. The creature to struggle and claw its way out of the tarp she had trapped it in, its head came free and it screeched.
Ammy suddenly whirled around, her tail flicked about, and an infinity sign flashed in yellow on the stand before a huge ball of flames appeared and consumed it in fire, the creature along with it. Immediatly following the astonishing power, Ammy lost her red marks and the mirror. They all just vanished so she was a plain white wolf and she collapsed. She was still concious, but she was breathing heavily now.

Ulrich stared in awe as the wolf performed the trick. How was that even possible?! He turned and looked back at her, then became worried as she collapsed. Apparently it had taken a lot out of her. He made his way over to her, then knelt down and put a hand on her. "...Hey... Ammy... Ammy are you ok?" He questioned. She was still breathing, she looked awake, but he couldn't help but worry about her. They'd known each other a small amount of time, but he was already growing attached. She'd saved him a couple of times now and he really owed her a lot.
"We gotta find somewhere that's ok to hide until you're better." He muttered. "Well, until we're both." He stroked her fur gently. He couldn't help it, petting her somehow put him at ease. Though it may not be true, in his eyes he imagined the wolf to be just as terrified as he was. Comforting her helped comfort him.

Ammy was exhausted and felt whoozy. That was new, she never felt so tired when she used powers like this... and she hadn't run out of ink so quickly in a long time. It must be the crippling lack of people in this place. She felt better as Ulrich came and stroked her fur. She turned her head and licked his face one.
After a few moments she slowly got to her feet but remained white. She staggered some and looked at Ulrich, they had to find cover elsewhere now, befoe something else bad came along.

Ulrich stood as well, nodding partially. "Are you ok..?" He asked, quietly. He was unsure about this whole thing. The wolf seemed to be getting weaker and weaker and he really wasn't helping her out as well as he should. He had to become stronger. He knew he was strong--he had always been strong back at home. If he planned on surviving, he had to pick up the pace.
"From now on, I'll do a better job with helping you." He murmured. He was tired and he was weak, but somehow sheer determination alone was keeping him fully alive. He couldn't allow himself to rest or else he would collapse for good. It was time for him to force himself to ignore the pain and fight to be strong.

Ammy looked up at the boy, she liked the determination he was showing. He was tired and scared, she could tell but he wasn't screaming and crying or ultimately having a mental break down like any normal human she would. She wagged her tail and gave a soft bark before licking his hand. She was still a cheery mutt, but some how she just didn't look as cheery without all of her markings.
She walked along with him and looked around. That had only been one stand out of many around the area, there had to be another suitable place to hide and maybe a better one. She'd just picked that one because he'd been unconcious and she'd wanted to find something fast. Surely there had to be sometihng better out and around here.

Ulrich smiled down at the dog when she licked him, then started to walk. "I need a new weapon .. again." He muttered and looked around while they walked. He'd pick up whatever he could find ... that was, if he managed to find anything. Hmmm.
He stumbled on, holding his side as he went. He didn't want his substitution bandages to fall off or anything. Jeez. He glanced down at Ammy. Was she going to be okay? Sure he took a big hit, but it wasn't like she was dodging everything. She had various wounds on her and he could see the blood. That, and her weird red design had just vanished. What did it mean?
"Hey, how come you're only white now?" He asked her.

Ammy looked around some as if she were ignoring him though she wasn't. She did here him but really how was she supposed to respond? Especially without her ink? Ironically, a few moments after he asked, some yellow light swirled around Ammy, and both her markings and her weapon returned to her. She looked back up at Ulrich now, wondering where they should go now.
