Ammy gave a sharp bark before dashing at it. The abstract daddy in turn got in a defensive-ish pose. It was hard to tell really, the thing was hideous. Ammy didn't get all that close to it yet, she swung her body forward and around, causing the thing on her back to fly out in a circle and striek the creature. The creature made a grunt but other than that showed no pain. Ammy would keep that up, all the while jumping away when it tried to lunge at her. Her advantage was that she was faster but she didn't appear to be doing anything to it. While she actually was damaging it a bit each time, she was no where near killing the disgusting monster.
Getting frustrated Ammy got in closer and bit one of its legs, and it in turn somehow bit onto her, not relasing. The hangign arm grabbed into her ear. She snarled and thrashed, trying to get loose from it to no avail.

Kazu, meanwhile, stared helplessly for a while. Sure, he could fight, but he was petrified. He'd never seen such a terrifying thing in his life. It'd definitely be something to tell Kogarasumaru when he next saw them. ...If he next saw them. He got the feeling he wasn't going to last 10 more minutes out here and that made him all he more terrified.
"Shit."
He watched as the creature bit onto the poor wolf and he frowned some. Okay, that was it--he needed to do something and fast. He couldn't let the dog that had saved his life only moments ago get killed by this creature with him watching. It was just wrong in every way, shape and form. He narrowed his eyes and then revved up his skates, dashing forward.
Even though he didn't want to touch it, he knew he had to do something. He socked the monster where it was keeping hold of the animal and skated past it. Of course, this didn't really work, and he didn't think it would either. With a small sigh, he decided it was time to get serious. He started to go around in circles around the both of them, causing the monster to become somewhat distracted and it eventually let go of the wolf.
Looking relieved, Kazu hurried over and grabbed the wolf in his arms, quickly skating away. He knew he couldn't beat this thing. He knew the wolf probably couldn't either. Right now, they just had to get away. It was a good thing that... that... thing was so damn slow!!
"Don't worry I'll get us somewhere safe for the time being." Kazu said, softly. Right now he sounded determined, but as soon as he'd got them far enough from the monster, he set down the dog and then fell down into a sitting position and curled up to cry some.
He wasn't a baby, he felt like any kid experiencing this would have a right to cry. He was terrified. This place had only got 100% worse and he just knew there were going to be more things like that. Sniffling some, he lifted his head and looked at the wolf with tear-streaked cheeks. "A-are you okay?" He asked her, trying his best to pull himself together.

Ammy had struggled slightly when he got her away from it, but gave up when they were too far. Her leg hurt and was bleeding and her ear was really sore. That thing hadn't been gentle when it pulled on it. The kid was fast, how curious...
When he set her down she really wanted to go back thwart that vile creature, but really couldn't leave this kid...though he did seem to be able to handle himself. Those things on his feet could get him away from things fast!
Her desicion was made when the boy started crying. No, she couldn't leave, not like that. His kind of tears weren't the type that deserved a head-butt either. She gave a soft whine and snuggled up to him some, licking one tear stained cheek before nuzzling it. Her fur was enough to keep his cold and wet body warm.

Kazu smiled a little at her, but the smile was delicate, as he really didn't feel like smiling at all. "Haha, you're really nice, y'know that...?" He said, petting her gently, "But your leg... you're bleeding! Ah, that's a problem." He wiped his eyes quickly and looked at her leg once again. "I could rip up my jacket, but I dunno if that'll get it infected." He murmured, then looked back at her.
"Y'know... you really kicked ass out there, even if that ... gross .. thing.. had an advantage. I feel kind of bad." He pet between her ears. He didn't really do anything to help her out apart from that first punch. He was starting to feel a little useless, but at least they'd got away safely. Kind of.

Ammy wagged her tail and leaned into his hand as he pet her. She was sitting on her leg normally and everything. The wound didn't appear to be bothering her at all. Ammy did feel the pain from it, but she'd had so many battles and gotten so many wounds before that were much worse that she didn't really care that it was there. She healed faster than an average being, especially when her stomach was full.
Speaking of which she was bit hungry now. But where in the world would they get food around here? Maybe those empty buildings? She didn't really have all that much interest in trying to hunt something around here considering it might just be as hideous and vile as that demon like creature they had just encountered.
After looking around some she stood suddenly, walking just a few feet away from him without a limp and sniffed around some. She wanted some food now. And with food on her mind the horror of everything just flew out of her brain.

"U..uh.. where are you going?" Kazu asked. It appeared the dog had no issue with the wound on her leg. It was like it didn't hurt at all and that seriously surprised him a lot. "...Jeez must be because she's a dog, I guess." He mumbled and stood back up to follow after her. She was sniffing around, did she catch scent of something? He hoped to God it wasn't another monster like what they'd just encountered. He didn't know if his stomach could handle that.
Speaking of stomach ... he was somehow getting a little hungry. "..Dammit, of all times.." He sighed.

Ammy looked at him, oh good he was following. She sniffed around some before catching the scent of something that wasn't entirelt foul. It smelled like maybe....meat?? Her tail started wagging and she started to run suddenly, and she was faster than the average wolf that was certain. Her new friend had those things on his feet, he should be able to keep up. Though if he didn't follow she would stop and look back at him. As she ran it seemed that little bit of grass and tiny flowers would sprout up, but they would vanish instantly.

Kazu was intrigued by this wolf, but he honestly had no words. The things she did were really cool and sort of made him feel kind of happy inside. She was different, he knew, but he didn't know how or why. He didn't know anything about this wolf and he was pretty sure he never would.
He followed quickly behind her on his ATs, staring at the plant life that sprouted and disappeared as she hurried on. It was so intriguing he seriously couldn't look away. He wondered just where she was leading him.

The longer he followed her, the more her pace would increase and the more would sprout behind her only to dissapear in the end, if he started to fall behind ever though, she would fall back and run along side him, making sure not to lose him. She didn't want to be alone in this ugly place. The scent was getting stronger and stronger, but she got the feeling that there would be other things after the food that she was going after too.
If Kazu looked ahead he would see a small building with letters hung off. It appeared to be a market. Where there was a market there might be food, even if most of it would be nasty there would at least be some dried stuff that might be edible. It was better than starving.

Kazu followed her, speeding up as she did, and just kept staring at the plants growing and disappearing. It was seriously amazing. When he'd finally snapped back to his senses, he looked up and ahead so he wouldn't trip over and noticed the market-like building ahead. He couldn't help but smile. "No way! You found some kind of food place! Wow, you're really nifty, arentcha?" He skated along, though it was kind of hard on this grassy terrain.
As he skated, he began to forget about the creature they'd met earlier, and just think about the possibilities of food in there. He hoped to God there was something edible and not just.. creepy, fungus-like things. God damn.

Amaterasu walked toward the building, but did so kind of causitously. Her ears went back and her fur stood up a little. There was something in there...
And just as she discovered it, it would become obvious to Kazu as well, there were various distored growls and barks of what was likely some monsterous dogs in there, though it didn't seem like they were barking at him and Ammy but rather fighting with each other in there.
Ammy stopped, then got in a ready position, yes, yes she was about ready to go running head long into that store. She always lept before she thought. That's what Issun always said to do!

"W-whoa, dude, there's something in there. I mean, more than one, don't you think we should get out of here?" Kazu murmured, staring down at the dog. He already had encountered a scary enough thing and that could last him a life time. He really didn't want to have to see what the hell was in there and just what was mauling each other. "Let's go, yeah...?" He said, his voice trailing off.
Sure, he was being a pansy, but truth be told he would probably piss his pants if anything else came at him. He could still see, smell and feel the disgusting presence of that door-table-creature-thing and it made him want to vomit. How did things like that even exist..?!!

Ammy didn't even look up at him, she put her tail up before dashing into the store. She'd heard him, she just hadn't listened to him. She was going to get that food! She could feed herself and...yeah maybe that kid too, she hopped over one of the letters that had fallen in the door and went into the darkness of the store. Her white coat kept her viasble for a pretty good amount of time, and after that, it was the light of the object on her back that could be seen before that would dissapear as well. There didn't appear to be any change in the growling and fighting of the creatures inside

"Shit! Dog--wait!!" Kazu exclaimed then bit his thumb. Did he follow, or keep his sorry ass outside? He didn't want anything to happen to the dog but ... she was just so brash! He guessed most dogs were, as they were dumb animals, but ... Dammit!
He skated on inside, looking around. He saw the wolf ahead of him for a short while but then she disappeared. Great--she was gone. Now he was going to get lost and eaten by whatever the shit was in here. He couldn't even tell, but he could hear them. He skated around, hesitantly, looking paranoid and a little spooked.
"W..Wolf?" He called, not wanting to be too loud, but he didn't want to be alone right now. He felt like such a pussy, but this place was really freaking the shit out of him. He wished Ikki was here--then he could just follow him like he always did.

Ammy snuck around the store and saw the source of the fighting, it was a group of two headed dogs, at least they weren't quite as nasty as the other thing. They were also pre-occupied fighting over something, knocking things over as they went. Ammy sniffed and edged her way toward the food, never taking her eyes off the beasts that were ultimately ignoring her at the moment. She discovered a rack with the beef jerky, though most of it was gone, the ones at the top were still there.
She cast a glance back at the ugly, fighting hounds then looked up, she swished her tail, the tip turned black and dripped ink, she turned, sweeping her tail across the air like a sword and the thin metal bars holding up the jerk were cut through and they fell, effectively getting the creatures attention when they clinked and clanked to the floor. They all looked at the pile of jerky bags Ammy was standing in and snarled, each preparing to lunge. The noise they had all been previously making had ceased.
If they were dumb enough to fight over something they had to be dumb enough to go after just one thing she could perhaps distract them with another. Yes she did have a brain sometimes. She picked up a bag and flung it into a group of them who in turn tackled it, and with that the pile was forgotten for the one bag she'd thrown them. They became just as loud if not louder than before. Ammy quickly picked up what she could carry in her mouth and started to sneak back toward the exit. Perhaps she could make a few more trips for the rest.
