When Kazu finally came to, he was laying on the ground and he could hear water flowing beside him. Grunting quietly he turned his head to the side, realizing he'd ended up by a river of some sort. He blinked slowly, trying to process just where he was. He couldn't figure it out.
Finally, the teen sat up and felt his head for his beanie. When he grabbed hold of it, he pulled it on properly and frowned a little. This was definitely nowhere near where he lived. It was way too dark, empty and creepy--something Japan wasn't like all that often (save the horror movies).
He wanted to stand up, but at the same time, wanted to just lay there and think for a moment. He fell back into a laying position and stared up at the sky, looking really concerned. Was this some sort of dream land? He wasn't too aware of what had just happened. He recalled falling into a stream, and since he couldn't exactly swim, he didn't manage to pull himself out. Did that stream seriously lead all the way down here to this creepy place? He was getting a little scared. Where was Ikki? Onigiri? Emily? Did he die in the river, or was he laying unconscious somewhere next to it?
Whatever, he guessed he had to find out some answers as to why he was here and how he got here. In order to do that, he supposed he should look around for the residents here, though it didn't particularly seem like there were any around this riverside. Were there any here at all? His heart beat kind of hard in his chest--he didn't want to be alone here. He really didn't want to be alone anywhere. Fuck--he was screwed, wasn't he?
Laying there, he pulled his arm over his eyes and bit his lip. Maybe when he next opened his eyes it'd all be okay again.

Amaterasu had been running and investigating around the place for some time now. Becoming more and more uneasy with things as time went by. Waking up in a strange, cold, haunting and smelly place wasn't something that she had ever wanted to experience. This wasn't home. This wasn't anything like home. And there weren't any people here...where were the people? There was evil here, that much she could sense. Were the people all gone?
With a faint whimper she lifted her head and sniffed the air, the foul scent of the place stung her nose, but wait--what was...?? Human? It smelled human, like a live human. Humans were nice, usually...
It was worth it to continue smelling the air to try to find that person. Finding a person meant not being alone. Being alone was the worst ever. She followed her nose, the scent of human getting stronger and stronger until finally she saw the boy laying by the river ahead.
She didn't like that much, people just lying there could mean they're hurt. Though he didn't seem hurt, her doggy senses gave her the faint inkling that the kid was upset, possibly scared. She walked over to the boy and looked down at him, sniffing some before...breathing her lovely dog breath all over his face.

Kazu felt like he heard another approaching, but rather than sitting up to actually see just who it was, he laid there and continued to listen. He felt like it was a bad idea, but at the same time, it was like that whole "I'm scared of the dark" method. At least, in his mind. If he just laid there and pretended to be dead ... the monster wouldn't get him.
--However, that didn't exactly work. He listened as it got closer, and closer, and then he soon smelt a kind of nasty dog-like smell in the air, along with the warm breath of one. He uncovered his eyes slowly and looked straight up into .... the face of a dog. A weird looking one. Kind of artistic, almost.
He would have taken the time to admire her beauty if it weren't for the fact the dog was a wolf. In a strange place. Wolves generally bit people. In strange places, strange things generally happened. Piecing this together he came to the conclusion said wolf was actually going to tear him apart limb from limb and eat his sorry ass. So .. he did what any normal person would do in this situation and... He crab-walked backwards in fear!!!!
"S-stay back, puppy..! I-I mean wolfie.. nice doggy...." He said, kind of worried. He hoped she'd get the hint and go away. But ... he had a feeling this wasn't something that'd generally happen. It'd probably come closer and... sniff him or something. Then bite him. Bite him.
Not paying much attention to what he was doing, however, he backed up a little bit too far and ended up sliding off the edge, rolling over into the river. Fantastic getaway! Too bad he couldn't swim.

Ammy watched the boy flail back. Oh good he wasn't hurt after all. Her tail started to wag as he watched him scramble some. Aware that he seemed spooked by her presence but happy none the less.
Her happy moment was ruined how ever when the kid went into the river. He wasn't making the movements that someone did when they would swim normally. Ammy hated the water but more than that she hated people getting hurt. So without hesitation she hopped into the river and doggy paddled to the boy, coming along side him before ducking underwater and coming up under him. The kid was light compared to what she'd had to carry before. She started to paddle back toward shore and hopefully the kid wouldn't freak out more and flail off her back.

Having already been flailing about in the water, Kazu was more than happy to be carried by a dog back to shore. Wait, the wolf was saving him? Confused, he looked at her and then frowned a bit. This definitely was weird to him, but at the same time... dogs saved people, didn't they?
When they arrived on the shore, he sighed and then smiled at her. "Thanks... sorry I freaked out, you're a nice pup after all, aren't you?" He said and sat criss cross, looking content. It seemed as if he'd found a companion here in this weird place! At least, if she didn't leave. He hoped she wouldn't leave him. He also hoped she hadn't saved him to eat him. For some reason he kept imagining that.

Ammy dragged him back onto shore, and when he sat criss-cross she sat in front of him and looked down at him, wagging her tail and giving a rather derpy looking wolf smile. As intellegent as she was, she certaintly didn't look it. She'd gotten insulted about it once before...and hadn't really appretiated it at all.
Ammy had decided that she liked this boy and for now would stay with him since there was no one else around. Besides, in this scary place he might need protecting.

Kazu laughed at her, but not in a rude way, more like in a: aw, that's cute! kind of style. He stared at her for a while after then finally looked down at his hand, then back at her. "Hey.. do you think maybe... I could pet you, or something..?" He asked. She was a dog. Dogs loved being pet. Right? And her fur looked really soft, even if it was all wet now. He slowly began to reach his hand out toward her, though his heart thumped hard in his chest.
Please don't lash out, please don't lash out, I like my hand.... He thought and swallowed hard, just staring at her as he went to pet her.

Ammy sat there watching the boy, she could hear his heart hammering. He was that afraid? How silly people pet her all the time! Especially kids, kids loved her genereally. She just wagged her tail and kept that derpy smile.
Her fur and body was especially warm and comforting, she was ditzy and a bit sensitive sometimes but really Ammy was a benevolent creature in general and she kind of radiated that.

Kazu's eyes widened some when he'd managed to successfully have his hand meet her fur. He began to gently stroke her at first, taking the time to feel the fur beneath and between all of his fingers. It felt warm and he almost wanted to cuddle up to her. He had a feeling sleeping with that dog would be one of the warmest nights ever. It made him miss his own dog, and he began to feel a little depressed inside again, but at least he'd calmed himself from being terrified of the animal.
"Y'know... I don't know how I got her. Do you happen to have any idea?" He asked, absent-mindedly as he watched his hand first mess up her fur and then gently smooth it back out again as it was meant to be.

Ammy just looked around, giving no indication what so ever that she had actually listened to him. She had listened she was just looking around and being kind of random. Her tendency to do this really kind of annoyed people sometimes. She began to feel kind of lazy so she laid down.

Kazu sighed, staring at her. He pulled his hand back and just watched her... be a dog. "I forgot you were just a dog." He said, smiling kind of half-heartedly. It was going to be hard to cope around here, but at least he had someone with him right now. He looked around the area, just as she had, and sighed. He hated the feeling he got from here. It was like... a horror film. He'd never imagined actually being in one though. "Okay, pup, it's time to check this place out." He decided and pulled himself to his feet. He was getting kind of chilly from being wet but ... whatever, it didn't matter right now. What mattered was finding out where the hell he was and how the hell to get back home.
He stretched as he stood and brushed off his pants. He had dirt sticking to them everywhere, and it didn't help they were soaked all the way through. He looked down at his shoes--or rather, ATs. Somehow they seemed perfectly fine, though he'd just fallen into a river. Hopefully the motors still worked. He had a feeling that really wouldn't be an issue at all.
"I just hope there aren't any monsters here." He said, attempting to laugh a bit. He was scared. He was really, honestly freaked out.

Ammy watched him get to his feet before getting to her feet as well, shaking herself out finally. Oddly enough she seemed to just be instantly dry. She stood at his heel and looked up at him, wondering where he was planning to go. From what she understood he didn't know where this place was either. Eventually, she would go off and look for the creatures that were troubling this place, but for now she had to make sure the one living being she had actually managed to find stayed safe.

The blond boy stared off for a moment before beginning to skate slowly. "Okay, wolfie. Just you and me today. Let's go find out some information--there's gotta be locals around here somewhere." He said and headed straight for the city he could see not too far off. Where there were cities, there were people, and right now he just wanted to see another human being. He pressed lightly against the toes of his shoes and started to go a little faster.
As he went on, there was a faint rustle coming from not too far back. A rustle that definitely indicated something was coming. He came to a quick halt and turned on his heels, looking back toward the direction they were just leaving in. "...W-what was that...?" He asked, in a slight whisper. His blue eyes darted back and forth from different locations, waiting for somebody (or something) to come out.

Ammy trotted after him, she was more comfortable with fast paces. She loved running but it wasn't always safe to run. The things he had on his feet made her curious and so she stared intently at them as she trotted next to him.
When he turned and halted Ammy was caught of gaurd and sort of stopped clumsily with a stumble and turned around, looking at him then over toward a bush. Oh, that had been a rustle. She lowered her head and spread her feet into a defending and dodging position, the odd item on her back flared out some fiery looking light.

Kazu watched her go and held his hand out some. "H-hey wait! Don't go over there! It might not be safe!" He said and just as he finished those words, a creature stumbled out of the bushes. Said creature appeared to be an Abstract Daddy (so in other words, you can look at its description so I can be lazy with describing right now.) It crawled out towards Amaterasu at a slow pace and let out a moan.
Kazu stood there for a moment, looking completely horrified, before crying out. "Oh God what is that!" He shrieked in horror. He almost wanted to vomit the sight was so disgusting. He didn't even know what to make of this, but he had a feeling if he watched any longer he was just going to pass out and lay there forever. This definitely had to be a nightmare. A really scary, terrible, frightening nightmare that he never wanted to dream up again. How the fuck did he even imagine something so disgusting?!
