Although he's a celebrity, Paul's unlike the rest. He's very friendly and he likes meeting new people; often described as the 'cute Beatle' in the media, Paul always looks as nice as is. As a child, he was overweight and often picked on, so he's still got that tiny part of him that's dreadfully self-conscious, despite the nice stroking his ego's taken from the millions of fans that praise his good looks alone. Thanks to his ever-faithful manager, Paul has never been placed in too dangerous a situation and therefore has never really taught himself any self-defense (why would he need to, anyway?) techniques. He's very intelligent and, if his mind is set on something, he becomes overtly determined and will do anything to accomplish that goal.
When it comes to his friends and relatives, he keeps them close, as it's easy to gain his trust but difficult to gain it back once it's broken. If ever there's a problem between him and someone close, he does his very best to set things straight in the most mannerly way possible. Ever the hard worker, all of his free time is spent with John Lennon--his best friend, band mate, and songwriting partner--making the best music they possibly can. The darker side of Paul that he tends to shield from society dabbles in illegal substances though he's very quiet about his private life, so there's a lot about him that even his most devoted fans can't possibly know. Overall, Paul is a happy, outgoing, strong lad who always thinks before he talks and stays true to himself, no matter what.

Family: Growing up in Liverpool, England, Paul lived with his mother, father, and brother in Forthlin Road until he rose to Beatle fame. His mother, Mary, was a nurse and midwife, while his father, Jim, played in ragtime and jazz bands in local Liverpool. Paul's mother died of breast cancer when he was very young so Paul was raised by his father for most of his life with his brother Mike.
History: As a child, Paul's father Jim gave him and his brother instruments, wanting them to learn to love music as more than just a hobby. Paul spent almost all of his time on these instruments, when he wasn't making good grades in school and sucking up to his teachers. Don't let his teacher's pet reputation fool you, though; Paul was always a little trouble-maker, but it was only really brought out of him when he John Lennon. From then on out, all of his time was spent with John, playing music, and being regular dastardly teenagers. Growing up, he was chubby, though his father lovingly called it 'puppy fat'--it didn't help. He was rather self-conscious but as he grew older and taller, he grew into his weight and slimmed out by his mid-teens. By the time he was twenty, he was the bassist of one of the greatest bands of all time, The Beatles.
Strengths: Paul's good grades in his youth weren't just because he studied hard. He was and has always been naturally smart; whether it's street smart, or book smart, Paul knows his surroundings. If he doesn't understand something, he's not afraid to ask questions in order to obtain the information he desires. Hand-in-hand with his intelligence is his willingness to spread his knowledge to others--he's happy to help those in need, especially those close to him. Even as a child, Paul was a socialite. He's friendly and quick to make friends, always glad to have conversation, specifically when it blesses him with praise and attention. Along with being friendly, he's humorous, and loves making people laugh. His biggest strengths are his intelligence and his natural ability to befriend people with his charm, wit, and practical perfection.
Weaknesses: Despite how perfect Paul seems to the public and most importantly to his fans, he, like every human, has his faults. No doubt, his biggest weakness is his weakness (literally). Even though he had the opportunity to teach himself how to defend himself as a child when he was picked on for his weight, Paul never learned, especially now that he's older, more attractive, and has security to defend him if ever the fans get out of line or there's a possible threat in the audience of a concert. The only fights Paul has ever been apart of are the fights with his friends, which are basically a few punches before they give in and make up and everything is fine again. Another weakness is that he's spoiled, always wanting attention, always expecting a nice stroke to ego (though he doesn't press for any of it unless it's given to him without asking for it). It's easy for him to be effected by words due to the last lingering bit of self-consciousness in his head from his younger days, and when it comes to being upset, his intelligence leaves him and he doesn't think before he acts. Despite having just a few weaknesses, they are big ones, and Paul isn't ashamed of them, as he doesn't really realize his faults until he's confronted about them.
Skills: His ability to read people is an automatic talent that Paul's glad to have. Just by the way someone acts, or stands, or looks at him is enough for Paul to loosely base their feelings upon. He believes it's a natural talent, as his mother could easily tell as a child when he was lying or trying to hide his emotions. Along with reading people, it can't be stressed enough that he's easy to get along with, and generally just a person that everyone would want to know, due to his kindness and his fluent personality. His smarts come in hand often, and he isn't too shameful to put his good looks to his advantage if the situation calls for it. He likes getting his way and from this has learned how to be an all-around people person.

"Got a smoke, mate?"
The relentless screaming of the fans twelve stories down blended with the wind, now. Paul was becoming used to their shrieks, it wasn't as annoying as it was before. His request was answered as John pulled a pack from his pocket and handed him a cigarette. Paul thanked him in a mumble, he was slightly hungover from the long night they had all had, and he was sure the rest of them weren't feeling any better. He sighed as he lit the tip and sucked the filter, blowing out the smoke afterward, almost mechanically. The Beatles had a concert in half an hour and their manager, Brian, was having a hard time fixing them an escape route so they wouldn't get kidnapped by their fans.
"We can take 'em," Paul joked lightly, smiling softly as he received chuckles from the other three band members, glad to slice the thick tension in the air a little. Being in America was different and didn't help the anxiety on their shoulders, so Paul was more than happy to help them all loosen up. Suddenly, Brian entered their cramped hotel room and happily informed them that their ride was waiting outside the emergency exit at the back of the hotel. Good; there would be a lot clearer, surely not the throngs of fans looking up expectantly at their windows at the front of the hotel. Packed light--a suitcase each--they grabbed their things and hurried into the elevator.
Paul didn't hate his fans. He liked when they screamed for him, called his name; he adored that love they expressed, but they were sometimes (unintentionally, he'd convinced himself,) violent, and it didn't help them when they were stressed out and lacked sleep right before a concert. Thankfully, the back of the hotel was near vacant and they managed to get into their tiny limousine and drive off without any fans pressing their bodies against the car to prevent it from moving. He smiled genuinely and waved at the fans as they passed by in blurred colors, and were soon out of their sight.
With their suitcases hastily thrown in the trunk, Paul was allowed to hold his bass case in his lap while he hummed their tunes to himself and imagined the chords in his head, a nice procedure to help him remember their songs just before they went on stage. This would be their first concert in America, so it was important to make a good impression, even though most of the time in England the fans were so loud that their music was hardly audible. Within the next five minutes, the large stadium came into view and Paul's heart beat steadily increased. His blood surged with anticipation, his headache seemed to fade and he felt quite elated, his senses reminding him of his undying love of performing music.
